Short Tour Description

This ebike tour proposes a day of green and blue with a swim at the Mediterranean sea included. Starting at the lake of Boadella you will follow the river Muga down to the sea.

The track is rather flat and very pleasant. The river designs the landscape of Alt Emporda meadows. It’s way passes Mediterranean farmlands and medieval villages. In Castelló d’Empuries rises the basilica called by the inhabitants the “Cathedral of Emporda” for its importance and majesty.

The journey ends at the sea side of the Natural Park Aiguamolls.

Character

This adventure descending towards the sea following the River Muga is a truly perfect day! You will discover the Empordà region, its countryside and its coastline in style by e-bike! This is an easy to moderate e-cycling day, basically a gentle and scenic ride pedalling along both asphalt and off-roads trails. If you have never tried an electric bike before then this tour is ideal for a first-time experience.

Please note

Tours begins in Sant Pere Pescador at 9:00 a.m. with transfer to Boadella Lake. There you will have the tour briefing and introduction to the e-bikes.
We would be happy to organise you a transfer to the start/end-point of the tour (Sant Pere Pescador). Please contact us!

Depending on the number of simultaneous tours, the season, the weather and national holidays, we may make alterations to the itineraries at short-notice, which could affect the number of hours of e-cycling per day, the route we take to any given destination or the use of alternative accommodation. Tours can also be cycled in both directions. All changes are at our discretion, but when changes are made, we endeavour to ensure that our high-quality standards are maintained and reflected in the alternatives that we choose.

An amazing day out, could not fault these guys. They looked after us so well, took us through local villages, we ate good food and cycled through beautiful scenery! We saw so much. And at the end, we finished by the Sea! We just loved it!
